Recipe for Workforce Planning launched

We are excited to launch a new resource to support organisations in implementing robust Workforce Planning.

The Recipe for Workforce Planning is an easy-to-use online tool driven by a dynamic process map; users click on each stage of the process to access resources and view the activities needed to complete that stage. The Recipe is a repository for best practice and facilitates peer support through a discussion forum.

An evaluation of 'House of Memories' pilot Train the Trainer Programme 2016

The pilot House of Memories Train the Trainer programme, led by National Museums Liverpool (NML) and commissioned by Health Education England working across the North West, has been designed to meet Tier 2 objectives as defined by the national Dementia Core Skills Education and Training Framework. The programme was delivered in partnership with four NHS Trust and community health service partners across the North West between November 2015 and April 2016, to more than 100 health care professionals via a cascaded train the trainer model.

Armed forces - e-learning programme launched

Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare (HEE e-LfH), with support from NHS England, has launched an e-learning programme for healthcare professionals to help increase understanding of the armed forces population and facilitate improved care and treatment.  The programme is split across three areas of NHS care for current serving personnel, the families of serving personnel and veterans, and for veterans.The e-learning programme is designed to highlight both the similarities and differences to allow healthcare personnel to understand the context of military life and how to appropr
